October Poetry Challenge: Day Twenty-Six

Snow, Snow, Come Down, Snow!

Poems don’t have to be beautiful
Sometimes they can be terrible yelling things
Loud and off-key, no rhyme or rhythm
About anything you like, anything you see

Like snow falling outside your window on a perfect Saturday morning
Tea mug in hand, stew on the stove, toes in socks
And you can inflate your belly with air and
bellow
“SNOW, SNOW, COME DOWN, SNOW!”
And that is the beautiful simplicity of life and
poetry

I’d love to see the efforts of your poem in the comments below! I understand that these are first drafts and I hope you offer my humble words the same grace!
Remember, Keep Showing Up!

See you tomorrow for Day Twenty-Seven!
